Well, it’s that time again for my monthly update. Lol. Sorry it’s been reduced to that. I doubt anyone really checks this regularly though, so I guess it’s ok.
- Poli died.
Only 3 turtles left…they’re doing ok though. - Penny Baby’s been growing (and teething). She’s gotten a bit too comfortable with our house and has thrown all the crate training out the window. She’s been having a lot of accidents around the house, and during the afternoons when she’s outside she’s been digging holes under our fence and climbing to our neighbors. Lol. So, naturally, my parents blocked all those holes and built another side gate for Penny. She’s still a sweetheart though. A bit spoiled, but how could she not be? Such a cutie. Oh, I made a Dogbook for her.
- Summer school sucks. I took my math midterm yesterday, and that went surprisingly well. On the down, down, down side though, I have a paper due on Tuesday for Hum. I hate Hum. I just want to be done. I’m currently signed up to take Hum 4 next session. After that I’ll be done with the series. I can’t decide what to do though. Jon’s made taking next session off sound really appealing, but I also just want to finish this and never have to think about Hum or write another paper again. I’d love some time off though. I haven’t had a summer since college started.
- I haven’t told VIA I’m going to quit yet, but my parents keep telling me to. I feel bad leaving without having found a good replacement. I mean, anyone could do this, but with Justin, he needs someone who’d match his style…and I guess that’s the hard part. Honestly, it wouldn’t be too bad to continue working there. I put in 1-2 hours every other week. Not a huge commitment, I know, but it’s just the fact that it’s always in the back of my mind that I need to go there.
- I passed by CBEST exam. I’m certified to be a teacher now. Exiting, but also not. It’d be great if I could start teaching this fall. Too bad I have 2 more years of college and 1 more year of graduate school ahead of me. I hate being a student. Lol. Get me out of herrreeeee!!! I should jack up my tutoring rates. Doubt ppl would be willing to pay…it’d be sweet if they were though.
- What else…? Hm…I guess that’s it. Summer’s been pretty uneventful.
Just school, tutoring, and work. I’m thinking I should start on my paper, but bleh. What a bore. - Oh! I got a new cell phone. Samsung slider. White. It’s a cutie.
