It seems like everyone’s getting pets these days. I have 5 turtles, Jon has a fish, Eugene has a hamster…other ppl have turtles, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs…
It’s proven to reduce stress. Yay for college students.

Things I’m really excited about right now…
-Sungod
-DMB in September (awesome seats with Jon.
)
-School to almost be over!
-Going around Asia with my Dad next winter
-My new white board
I’m sitting by Ledden waiting for Jon to get out of class, and my dad just IMed me (haha) asking if I wanted to go to Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong with him for winter break next year. Yes!! I’m so excited! Lol. My turn to go bar hopping with my dad.
I just learned something new while checking the weather for the weekend and next week.
Sunrise is around 6 AM and sunset is around 7:30 PM. What’s cool though, is that moonrise (didn’t even know there was such a thing) isn’t until about 10 PM, and moonset is at 7 AM. That means there’s just under 3 hours of the night when there’s only stars in the sky, and there’s an hour in the morning when we have the sun and the moon.
I thought it was cool.
Happy Friday (almost Friday)!!
For those who didn’t know or haven’t figure it out, the titles to my posts are song titles. This one’s by Vega4. They opened for Augustana and I absolutely love this song right now. Download it if you can!
I have a stats quiz tomorrow that I’m pretty screwed for, but I wanted to take a break to make this post.
It’s been a good couple of days, and today seemed especially great. For one, it was Jon and my anniversary. 11 months! I found out I owned my stats midterm. Such a relief knowing I don’t need to stress about my 2nd one (the professor only counts the best of the two). My tutee for today canceled so I got to have dinner earlier than I had planned for.
I was starving and dinner was lovely.
Oh! Between my 9:00 and 12:00 class, I went to Plaza and got some munchies and sat on a bench by the Revelle fountain reading the NY Times. It was nice taking time for myself in the middle of the morning like that. New ritual? I think so. Maybe not the NY Times though. I just grabbed it cuz it was free (haha), but I’d rather read my book…or cram for Korean (my 12:00).
I went to Lake Poway with Jon on Friday and then again on Saturday with Jon and Wayne. Friday we took a peddal boat out onto the lake…it was fun and I got to tan a bit.
Saturday was fishing. No luck, but I did get to tan some more. Lol. Wayne managed to get his fishing line stuck to the seaweed twice. Nice one. Oh! We also BBQed that day. Well, I BBQed while the boys fished. Lol. It was a lot of fun.

Jon and me in our boat on Friday

Jon fishing

Wayne being patient…and roasting in the sun.
Um…what else…oh ok. VIA. Justin’s in China so I’m “unsupervised” for a couple of weeks. Love it. Lol. I’m in and out of there so much quicker than when he’s there.
Um…ok. I’m done. Back to studying. (Listen to Life is Beautiful!!!)
